LAHORE – PML-N Senator Pervaiz Rasheed has said that PPP ministers should resign and then stage a sit-in as long as they want. “The Punjab government will remain unhurt as it has majority in the House,” he told Pakistan Today. He said that the Punjab government was safe and in no danger.
Rasheed said PPP Senior Minister Raja Riaz was a “hilarious man and his 19-point agenda is a joke as well”. To a question, he said Nawaz Sharif had not yet received any agenda from PPP ministers. Meanwhile, Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan said that it would be better if the PPP ministers staged a sit-ins outside the residences of their leaders, as their leadership had not yet given approval to their 19-point agenda.
The law minister said it would have been better if the PPP provincial leadership had persuaded its central leadership before putting forward the agenda.
