LAHORE – The National Highways & Motorway Police (NH&MP) N-5 Central on Friday claimed to have arrested 12 criminals involved in various crimes and recovered locally-made liquor, two pistols, bullets, cash worth Rs 32,000, six cellular phones and an agricultural seeds truck worth hundreds and thousands of rupees from their possession.
According to the NH&MP spokesman, officials have arrested 12 accused including Saifullah, Abdul Jabbar, Muhammad Rafi, Anwar Ali, Nisar Ahmed, Noor Ahmed, Suleman, Noorzada, Muhammad Naeem, Ali Afsar, Naeem Khan and Khan Muhammad. On direction of DIG N-5 Central, the arrested criminals and recovered items were handed over to local police for further interrogation.
NH&MP IG Dr Wasim Kausar appreciated efforts of patrolling officers and advised them to work hard to maintain standards set by the department.
