LAHORE – Tulips, one of the winter’s recurrent flowers which was once part of the subcontinent has returned to Lahore after nearly four centuries and will be put on display in most exotic manner from February 9 to 11 here at the Royal Palm Golf and Country Club.
An exhibition of Tulip Flowers will be the first of its kind in Pakistan. Nosheen Sarfraz the Horticulturist Expert believes that it is returning to Lahore after 400 years and these flowers can still be seen in pictures at Shalimar Gardens and Chaburji where princesses are shown sitting along sheet of tulips.
Addressing a press conference here Col (r) Jameel Khalid stated that stated that Royal Palm continuously endeavours to maintain and preserve the beauty of the natural surroundings which nature has bestowed on us.
