LAHORE – Punjab Emergency Service Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer on Thursday carried out a performance review of Rescue 1122 in 35 districts of Punjab. The data has revealed that the service rescued over 30,105 victims of emergencies while carrying out 29,048 rescue operations during January, while maintaining its average response time of seven minutes.
These rescue operations include 5,744 rescue operations in Lahore, 2,871 in Faisalabad, 980 in Rawalpindi, 1328 in Bahawalpur, 2535 in Multan, 1005 in Dera Ghazi Khan, 919 in Rahim Yar Khan, 883 in Sahiwal, 945 in Sialkot, 2,002 in Gujranwala, 307 in Murree, 992 in Sargodha, 904 in Jhang, 343 in Toba Tek Singh, 567 in Muzafargarh, 439 in Rajanpur, 298 in Mianwali, 459 in Pakpattan, 376 in Kasur, 339 in Gujrat, 560 in Bahawalnagar, 253 in Jehlum, 330 in Attock, 407 in Khanewal, 260 in Vehari, 209 in Chakwal, 408 in Okara, 245 in Hafizabad, 372 in Sheikhupura, 439 in Lodhran, 168 in Nankana Sahib, 214 in Khushab, 194 in Mandibaha-ud-din, 196 in Narowal, 252 in Layyah and 305 in Bhakkar.
