LAHORE – Lahore witnessed overcast conditions on Thursday and according to the met Office, a fresh western disturbance was affecting western and upper parts of the country and likely to persist for the next 2-3 days.
Under the influence of this weather system, a good winter rain and snowfall is predicted in different parts of the country during coming 5 to 6 days while minimum temperature in the city was six Celsius and maximum temperature was 25 Celsius.
An isolated rain with snowfall over the hills is expected in the Upper Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa, Northern Punjab, North East Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir today (Friday).
Met office said that the scattered rain with snowfall over the hills is also likely in upper Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa, Gilgit Baltistan, Northeast Balochistan, Kashmir and upper Punjab on Monday and Tuesday. It further said that there were chances of developing misty conditions in morning time at few places in eastern parts of Punjab and Sukkhar division.
