Peshawar car bomb kills 10

PESHAWAR – At least 10 people, including two children and two women, were killed and another 32 were injured when a car bomb exploded at Badhabher area of Peshawar on Wednesday. Police said an explosives-laden vehicle had been parked near a bazaar on Teleband Road.
They said the target was the Badhabher police station, but the driver abandoned the vehicle near the bazaar after failing to reach the police station due to the crowded marketplace. The explosion destroyed another vehicle and around 15 shops. No one claimed responsibility for the act so far, but authorities suspect the involvement of the Taliban.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senior Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour said no one but the Taliban were involved in the act. He said the Taliban had already claimed responsibility for a similar terrorist attack in the area two days ago.
