9 teams vie for glory in CM Competitions

LAHORE – The second Chief Minister’s Sports Competitions (intermediate level) will roll into action from February 4. The event will be inaugurated by Director General Sports Punjab Salman Ijaz at the National Hockey Stadium, Lahore, at 11am. The nine divisional teams from all over the province will participate in the girls athletics, badminton, volleyball and hockey competitions while boys will take part in athletics, badminton, volleyball, cricket, football and hockey events.
A meeting of secretaries and divisional sports officers will be held for the competitions under the presidency of Director Sports Hafeez Bhatti on February 3. The competitions for boys will be held at the Punjab Stadium, Fame Club Model Town, Govt College for Boys Gulberg, Punjab College of Commerce Ferozpur Road, Iqbal Park Sports Complex, National Hockey Stadium, Punjab University Old Campus Cricket Ground.
The girls competitions will be held at Punjab Stadium, Punjab College Of Commerce, Govt Girls Pilot Secondary School and National Hockey Stadium.
