Swati accuses PM of corruption

ISLAMABAD – Leveling serious charges against the prime minister, former minister Azam Khan Swati said in the Senate on Monday that around Rs 10 billion were being embezzled every year in the Utility Stores Corporation (USC) because of mismanagement and corruption.
Swati said his attempts to contact the managing director had gone to waste since he refused to share any information, adding that this attitude of the MD should be referred to the Standing Committee of the Senate on Privileges. He said he could prove corruption charges against the prime minister.
In another motion, ANP Senator Afrasyab Khattak alleged that genuine degrees had been reported as fake and this matter should also be reported.
