Gillette moves to keep cricket passion alive


KARACHI – The Gillette Pakistan will sponsor two winners of its lucky draw for the upcoming Cricket World Cup. A formal lucky draw was conducted here at Metro Cash And Carry by Saad Amanullah Khan, CEO Gillette Pakistan, amidst the excited shoppers and the media. The contest was launched earlier this month by the Gillette in collaboration with Metro.
The Gillette CEO, after announcing results of the lucky draw, said the two lucky persons had won the grand prize. Addressing the event, Khan said the Gillette brand for many years had been synonymous with sportsmen’s zeal and had always supported the youth’s passion for sports. This competition, he said, was an initiative to help bridge the passion of the country’s youth with this great cricketing event.
“Hopefully these two winners would be able to cheer the Pakistan team to victory and bring joy to our nation,” Khan said. The CEO also announced the names of 10 lucky winners who won Gillette gift hampers. Gillette also arranged a display that the brand believes had set a record in the history of Gillette as it measures an astounding 199 feet in length carrying Gillette Mach3 razor packs cartridge and shave care products.
