It might appear a little too far-fetched, but one of the most infamous reality show judge, Simon Cowell, is being pursued to judge the Indian version of ‘The X Factor’. The UK based reality show is stated to be Cowell’s brain child and hence the Indian channel that is launching the show’s local version is keen on having Simon as one of its celebrity judges.
The channel that will air the music-based reality show in the coming months, is keen to have the internationally known name onboard. As per reports, the channel has already acquired rights for the local version of the singing contest from Simon, whose production company owns the format.
They now want him to be part of the programme as well. Known for his rude remarks and blunt judgments, Simon has judged television shows such as ‘Pop Idol’, ‘Britian’s Got Talent’ and ‘American Idol’ besides ‘The X Factor.’
