Minor raped, woman abducted

KASUR – A four-year old girl was raped at village Sanda Kalan in the precincts of Ganda Singhwala police. Reportedly, one Arslan took the minor to his workshop and raped her. In another incident, a woman was abducted from Bablian Autar village in the Kot Radha Kishan police limits.
Reportedly, Razia Bibi was going to the fields when three armed men kidnapped her in a car and took her to an unknown destination.
MAN SETS WIFE ON FIRE: A man allegedly set his wife on fire for giving birth to three daughters at village Bheddian Kalan in the jurisdiction of Ganda Singh Wala police sation. Reportedly, Sultana Perveen was married to Lal Din seven years ago. She gave birth to three daughters. Lal Din wanted to contract second marriage but his wife objected to it.
On the day of the incident, following exchange of hot words between the spouses, Lal Din pushed his wife into a burning stove as a result of which she sustained serious burn injuries and was admitted to hospital. Later, Lal Din informed his fathet-in-law that Parveen had sustained burn injuries while cooking food.
MEETING REVIEWS PRICES OF CONSUMER GOODS: DCO Malik Jahanzaib Awan held a meeting to review the prices of consumer goods. The meeting fixed the price of milk at Rs 40 per litre, curd at Rs 45, flour at Rs 28 kg, beef at Rs 170 at per kg, and mutton at Rs 310 per kg. The DCO asked shopkeepers to sell pure things according to the set prices.
