Army clinch rugby title

LAHORE – Army won the Pakistan Inter-Department Rugby Championship at the Karsas Naval Base in Karachi on Sunday. Reports receiving here said that the tournament, organized with the collaboration of Pakistan Rugby Union, Navy and Sind Rugby Association, featured five departments.
Army, Police, Wapda, Railways and Navy contested the event. Some great matches were won with teamwork as well as individual performances. Army won comprehensively by 31-0 beating WAPDA. Army won all there matches to qualify for the final, WAPDA were the other team qualify the final. Player of tournament and highest scorer Imran Arshad from army.
Chief guest COMKAR (Commander Karachi) Navy Rear Admiral Syed Khawer Ali and Secretary Gen of Pakistan Rugby Union Arif Saeed distributed prizes. All high officials from all five departments are also come on that occasion. Results final day
