70 political workers join PTI

LAHORE – More than 70 political workers of the Union Council-138 belonging to the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) and other parties have joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI).
Talking to Pakistan Today, PTI UC-138 President Arif Mehmood Sheikh alias Koku said that prominent local residents including Syed Zaheerul Hassan, Nadeem Warsi, Akram, Hafeez and Imran Mahmand along with 70 other political workers expressed full confidence on leadership of PTI Chairman Imran Khan and said that the PTI was the only party, which could steer the country out of crisis.
Arif said that the situation had totally changed and people wanted to serve the nation by joining the PTI. He said that Imran was a prominent person who won fame for the country in cricket. The PTI worker said that he was very much impressed by Imran’s personality because there were no charges of corruption against him.
