Warid brings Bombay Dreams to Karachi

KARACHI – Over the years, the English theatre in Pakistan has experienced remarkable growth. The Warid Telecom has also joined in promoting arts in the country, said a press statement issued here Friday. It said, “Greatly supporting the young talents, Warid GLOW has become synonymous to quality theatre in Pakistan.
The much hyped and awaited play ‘Bombay Dreams” is now being staged at the Karachi Art Council and it will run for 25 days, starting from January 27th.to February 20th. Originally, the play was an Andrew Lloyd Webber production, created by famous Indian music director A R Rahman. Directed by Shah Sharabeel, it is an adaptation of the original one in accordance with the local scenario.
