ISLAMABAD – Cabinet’s Sub-Committee on Friday asked the Defence, Education, Industries and Housing ministries to give the implementation status of the Presidential Act, 2010 that restored the sacked employees of the said ministries.
Labour and Manpower Minister Khursheed Ahmed Shah chaired the meeting on Friday, also attended by Industries and Production Minister Mir Hazar Khan Bijrani, to review the reinstatement cases of various ministries’ sacked employees.
The Presidential Act, 2010 was aimed at providing relief to the autonomous, semi-autonomous bodies or the government employees appointed between November 1, 1993 and November 30, 1996 and were terminated between November 1, 1996 and October 12, 1999.
