LAHORE – The two-day cricket trials of the Punjab University for participation in the Zone D Cricket Championship concluded here on Thursday. Around 130 cricketers from 25 colleges took part in the trials.
Former PCB selector Azhar Khan, Agha Zahid, Dr Nasir Saeed, Malik Iftikhar, Farhat Hussain Saddique, Ch Anwarul Haq and Director sports Punjab Dr Zafar Rashid watched the trials. After the trials 25 cricketers were selected and they will undergo training from today till February 5 under the supervision of Dr Farhat Saddique.
