LAHORE – The Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) remained bearish with a decline in the volume. The LSE 25-index lost 17.03 points to close at 3,829.41 against its opening at 3846.44 levels. Out of total 115 active scrips, 19 went up, 39 went down and 57 closed without any change in their opening values.
Volume of the market remained 5.44 million shares, which was 2.41 million shares less than Wednesday’s turnover of 7.86 million shares. Lotte Pakistan PTA was the volume leader with 2.67 million shares turnover and it added Rs 0.07 to close at Rs 15.38 against its opening at Rs 15.31. Fauji Fertilisers Bin Qasim was the second volume leader with 0.45 million shares turnover but it declined Rs 0.38 to close at Rs 40.68 against its opening at Rs 41.06.
Habib Bank was the major gainer and it added Rs 1.20 to close at Rs 123.70 against its opening at Rs 122.50.
