LAHORE – Pakistan fast-bowler Shabbir Ahmed still awaits his participation money in the Indian rebel league (ICL) and has criticised the organisers for not releasing his money. Talking to journalists here at the Gaddafi Stadium, Shabbir said that he has no regrets on his participation in the Indian cricket League.
“The purpose of playing ICL was to get involved in competitive cricket rather than staying out of the game. Another reason of participation was ignorance in selection in the national team,” he said. He said all the participants from Pakistan have not received the amountand former captain Moin Khan was their representative but there has been no response from him or the organisers.
