Political instability

Since 1947, Pakistan has faced immense political instability. Pakistan has passed 36 years under different military dictators and failed to establish a stable democratic government due to constitutional conflicts. Due to this political instability, its socio-economic .growth has been curtailed.

The political parties here are not working fairly. The political parties are known by the name of their. Personification has harmed extremely the true essence of democracy. The leaders are autocrats. On the other hand, the judiciary had also dual strategy over the history. Mostly the role of judiciary has been vulnerable. It has always provided a so-called legal way to the dictators to assume power.

Democracy can be revived by the reform of judiciary, by strengthening the free press, creation of an independent election commission, internal party elections, implementation of constitution, and the protection of minorities and civil liberties.
