Although it is true that state run enterprises are in downward move but to say that government wants to hand over them to foreigners or want to induct foreigners in them is not true either.
In case of the PIA (one of the biggest assets of Pakistan), the latest move of going for code sharing arrangement with the Turkish Airline can be beneficial for Pakistan. It would get enhanced revenue through 15% commission that Pakistan would get. Through mutual cooperation with the Turkish Airline, the PIA would reach to the places where it has no flight service. This inevitably would build our image as a friendly nation.
The trend of politicising the administrative issues by some political parties to gain political mileage will not prove beneficial.
