Right and wrong

The new hot topic under focus in our media these days is Veenas Big Boss actions. Interestingly, many television anchors are bringing about religious scholars to express their point of view in a more twisted manner, leading many to believe that it is just a money minting game.

Just by playing it on their own stage arises religious sense of rectification. Ironical as it may be, the same TV channels, which do not promote covered female as their anchors and newscasters are now judging an actress upon her conduct! The same channels, when paid for an advertisement, do not even consider whether the contents of these advertisements adhere to our religion or not. I believe all they care about is money earned through ads. They dont care what Islam has to say on such issues.

Furthermore, provided that these channels adhere to all, or at least major, Islamic teachings themselves; will it be these channels that are now going to help judge the difference between right or wrong, as did Mumtaz Qadri (Salmaan Taseers guard). The question of who is the deciding authority of wrong or right still remains unattended to as the government is ignorant, or rather fearful, to encounter the authority of pseudo Islamic clerics as opposed to aggressively promote the wisdom of Islamic scholars.
