LAHORE – The 2nd Chief Minister Sports Cup (intermediate, inter-district level) events are being contested with great enthusiasm in various districts of the province.
In Sahiwal, the athletics competitions were won by Government Higher College 45/112 L Cheechawatni. DPC Okara beat Government College for boys Gojra was in cricket match.
In boys badminton event, Government College Sahiwal was defeated by DPC Sahiwal while in girls badminton, Government College for Women Cheechawatni beat Government College for Women Sahiwal.
In Okara, Government College for Women Okara won the athletics competitions while on the other hand, Government College for Okara won in the volleyball competitions. In football, Government College Okara got to the victory stand by beating Government College Killa Gojra. In badminton, Government College Haveli Lakha defeated Government College Gojra and Government College Okara defeated Government College Renala Khurd. In Pakpattan, boys football matches were held and the victorious team was from Govt College Arifwala after it beat Government Fareeda Postgraduate College Pakpattan whereas Government Fareeda Postgraduate College Pakpattan defeated Iqbal College Arifwala.
In district Toba Tek Singh, the victorious cricket team was Government College of Commerce Kamalia after defeating Government MD College Gojra.
