ANF to register treatment centres for addicts

GUJRANWALA – Punjab Anti-Narcotics Force Joint Director Javed Iqbal has said that rehabilitation and treatment centres for addicts will be registered after the process of scrutiny.
He said this while addressing the annual day of Anti-Narcotics Welfare Society Wazirabad. Karachi Drug Free Pakistan Foundation President Farheen Naveed Siddiqui, Muhammad Sohail Younas, Muhammad Jamil Cheema and others also shared their views.
The ANF has been playing its role to reduce the demand of narcotics and save youth from addiction, Javed said and added addiction had been a major source to avoid social responsibilities.
He said that parents, teachers and the whole society should come forward to save the youth from this social evil. He added addicts must be sent to treatment centres for treatment instead of ousting them from home
