LAHORE – Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Director General Syed Shakeel Hussain called on Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Aslam Tareen on Monday to discuss matters of professional interest.
The CCPO informed the ANF DG that crackdown against drug pushers would continue and Lahore Police would leave no stone unturned for eradication of this social menace. Tareen informed Shakeel that six divisional teams, headed by divisional SPs, SDPOs and SHOs, have been constituted for eradication of drug trade and frequent raids would be continuously conducted against those people who are found involved in such heinous crimes.
The ANF DG appreciated efforts of the Lahore CCPO and hoped that the Lahore Police and ANF would continue to work together to make Lahore a “drug-free city”. Afterwards, Tareen presented a shield and copy of the Holy Quran to Shakeel.
