QUETTA – National Party Senior Vice President Senator Mir Hasil Khan Bezinjo has strongly criticised the government, saying that they had sought an apology first and then unleashed atrocities against the Balochs, setting new records comparable to their predecessors.
He said that Balochs could not present flowers to the rulers after receiving decomposed bodies of their youth. He was addressing a public gathering in Dera Allayar of Jaffarabad district on Sunday. “The incumbent democratic government has broken all records of atrocities and cruelties,” he said.
“People are receiving mutilated bodies of their dear ones and innocent Balochs were being targeted, adding that Balochis will not bow down by force.” The National Party leader said that they will defend Balochistan at every forum by following the footsteps of their forefathers. He said that Baloch nationalist forces should strive to bring peace among the tribes engaged in disputes and unite all Balochis on a single platform.
He said that Baloch people should take out Sardars and landlords from the assemblies and elect their true leaders otherwise the fate of the Baloch nation will remain unchanged. Bezenjo, son of elderly Baloch nationalist late Mir Ghous Bakhsh Bezenjo, said that through a conspiracy Sui gas was snatched from the people of the province and if the revenue had been distributed in Balochistan every person would have received Rs 3 lakh every month.
He said that Reko Diq was the asset of people of Balochistan and the people will not allow outsiders to plunder its resources. He said bandits in the assembly and security forces were ruling Balochistan and had unleashed a reign of terror on the people, adding that MPA had been given Rs 500 million and there was record corruption in the name of flood affectees.
Referring to law and order, he said that kidnapping for ransom had become a lucrative business in the province particularly in Jaffarabad district. Bezenjo said that members of Hindu community were migrating to other countries owing to frequent incidents of kidnapping of Hindus which was a matter of great concern.
Other NP leaders, including Dr Abdul Hayee Baloch, Tahir Bezinjo and Nazeer Ahmed Khosa also addressed the occasion.
