Boy arrested for accidentally coming in front of CM’s cavalcade

LAHORE – A boy was arrested by police for accidentally walking in front of the Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif’s convoy on Sunday in Model Town.
The boy was subsequently released by police after confirming his residency in Model Town and the unintentional stepping onto the CM Punjab’s route. Adeel Qadir (19), a resident of the 21-B went to a shop for buying grocery. After buying grocery he came out from the shop and tried to cross the road without knowing that the route of the CM Punjab was set and the convoy was about to pass through. Elite force personnel instantly seized the boy.
Later SHO Model Town Zikraya Yousaf and other high-ups reached the spot and interrogated him. They discovered he had stepped in front of the convoy accidentally. The SHO confirmed to Pakistan Today that the interrogated boy was innocent and a resident of the Model town and had accidentally stepped in front of the convoy.
He said that he interrogated and found that he had not intentionally come in front of the convoy and therefore police released him.
