QUETTA – Two gas supply pipelines were blown up by resistance groups in Dera Bugti district on Saturday. Militants attached an explosive device to a 24-inch diameter pipeline in Sui area which went off with a bang.
As a result gas supply to the purification plant from the damaged pipeline was also suspended. In another similar incident, an 18-inch diameter gas pipeline was also exploded in Loti area of Dera Bugti, suspending the supply to the plant. No loss of life was reported in both incidents.
Baloch Republic Army claimed responsibility.
