RAWALPINDI – An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Saturday extended for ten days physical remand of former city police officer (CPO) Saud Aziz and SP Khurram Shahzad in the Benazir murder case.
FIA brought both before ATC Judge Rana Nisar Ali Khan to seek an extension in their physical remand on the grounds that their cell-phones had not yet been found yet.
FIA prosecutor Chaudhry Zulfiqar informed the court that the accused officers had handed over unused SIMs and phones, and therefore an extension in their physical remand was required to recover the ‘actual’ stuff.
