ISLAMABAD – The issue of former minister of state for ports and shipping Nabeel Gabol’s resignation is likely to be resolved on Monday when he meets President Asif Ali Zardari.
A PPP source told Pakistan Today that Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani played a key role in pacifying President Asif Ali Zardari who was annoyed with Gabol for making derogatory remarks against the government’s coalition partners – the Awami National Party and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement.
Before this, the president had already warned Gabol against his reckless statements.
