LAHORE – JS Bank/ Waste Busters won their last league match to qualify for the main final of the Caanchi & Lugari Pakistan Polo Cup 2011, to be played on Sunday against Ciro’s Pomodoro.
On the other hand PSS International won its match and qualified for the subsidiary final against Master Paints (Black). The combined team of JS Bank and Waste Busters defeated Hattaf 6-4. The win materialised due to the efforts of Ahmed Ali Tiwana, who scored five of the six goals. Zain Khan Khakwani completed the tally for the winners. Raja Arsalan Najeeb scored all the four goals for Hattaf.
Meanwhile, PSS International prevailed over Pakistan Air Force, beating them 4 goals to 2-1/2. Ahmed Khan, Waseem Sial and Naveed M Sheikh kept the scoreboard moving for PSS, while Haseeb Minhas and Nausher Khan added one goal each for PAF.
