ISLAMABAD – A single bench of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) comprising Justice Muhammad Anwar Kasi on Friday issued notices to the officials of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for not recognizing special people’s cricket association.
The court was hearing a petition filed by Pakistan Cricket Association for Physically Handicapped. Abdul Latif Kohkar, counsel for the petitioner, contended before the court that despite fulfilling all legal requirements, the association of handicapped was not being recognized by the PCB.
He apprised the court that instead of recognizing to his client the PCB has handed the issue to Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association. The court then adjourned further hearing for indefinite period.
