Police unable to arrest wife’s killer

LAHORE – Police was still unable to arrest the accused who allegedly strangulated his wife in the jurisdiction of the Liaquatabad Police Station while Station House Officer Sarfraz Shah said they were conducting raids at various places and would confiscate the culprits soon.
Reportedly, the accused Muhammad sabir, a resident of Kot Khawaja Saeed, contracted two marriages with Aqsa and Shameem. SHO said the first wife of the accused Aqsa urged him to beat his second wife shameem and, on the day of the incident, Sabir and Aqsa’s brother Nadeem started thrashing Shameem who was throttled to death by her husband.
