PAF thrash Frontier Scouts in Caanchi & Lugari Polo Cup

LAHORE – Pakistan Air Force and Hattaf enjoyed the chilly Thursday with wins in the Caanchi & Lugari Pakistan Polo Cup here at the Lahore Polo Club. If Pakistan Air Force had an easy sailing against Frontier Scouts 8-2, Hattaf had to fight hard to beat PSS International and after going on an equal terms 6-6, they eased to win with the advantage of one-and-a-half goal handicap.
Haseeb Minhas hit four of the eight PAF scored while Tauheed Ahmad contributed two. One each came from Nausher Khan and Asad Nadir. From the losing side, Kaiser Trimzi went on a solo flight in the opening chukker and that was the only goal Frontier Scouts had on the scorecard.
Saqib Khan Khakwani fought a lone battle in PSS International’s loss to Hattaf. Raja Arsalan Najeeb played a major role in the win with Omar Asjad Malhi and Hassan Ali Farrukh sharing one goal each. Umpires for the matches were Taimur Ali Malik, Shah Shamyl Alam, Azhar Ali and Ahmed Zubair.
