LSE sheds 100.52 points

LAHORE – The Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) remained bearish on Thursday, while the volume underwent slender improvement. The LSE 25-shares dwindled 100.52 points to close at 3,835.60 against its opening at 3,936.12 levels. Out of 122 active scrips, nine went up, 54 went down and 59 remained stagnant. Volume of the market remained 8.14 million shares, which was 0.67 million shares more than Wednesday’s turnover of 7.47 million shares. Lotte Pakistan PTA, with a turnover of 3.17 million shares, was the volume leader, while it lost Rs 0.94 to close at Rs 15.25 against its opening at Rs 16.19.
Bank of Punjab, with a turnover of 1.4 million shares, accumulated Rs 0.03 to close at Rs 9.34 against its opening at Rs 9.31. Pakistan Refinery was the major gainer as it added Rs 5.53 to close at Rs 116.4 against its opening at Rs 110.87. Millat Tractors was the major loser as it lost Rs 14.56 to close at Rs 527.5 against its opening at Rs 542.06.
