KARACHI – Terrorism is a pressing concern in Karachi but no anti-terrorism court (ATC) in the city will have a working judge from today (Thursday), Pakistan Today has learnt.
There are three ATCs in Karachi, one of which was non-functional since the past six months. The other two have also become vacant this week after the contracts of the respective judges expired; ATC-1 judge Syed Hassan Shah Bukhari’s contract expired on Monday while ATC-3 judge Anand Ram Hotwani’s term expires today.
