LAHORE – The Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) remained bearish with a decline in overall volume. The LSE index lost 17.35 points to close at 3,936.12 against its opening at 3,953.47 levels. Out of 127 active scrips, 15 went up, 46 went down and 66 closed without any change in their opening values. The volume of the market remained 7.47 million shares, which was 2.09 million shares less than Tuesday’s turnover of 9.56 million shares.
Pakistan Refinery Limited (PRL) was the major gainer and it added Rs 5.28 to close at Rs 110.87 against its opening at Rs 105.59. Millat Tractors was the major loser and it lost Rs 13.75 to close at Rs 542.06 against its opening at Rs 555.81. Lotte Pakistan PTA was the volume leader with 2.5 million shares turnover and it added Rs 0.57 to close at Rs 16.19 against its opening at Rs 15.62. Fauji Fertilizers Bin Qasim with 0.69 million shares turnover lost Re 1 to sloe at Rs 42.12 against its opening at Rs 43.12.
