Centre will help KP improve security: Malik

ISLAMABAD – Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Wednesday assured the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government of his full cooperation to improve the security situation in the province. He said the provincial government would be fully assisted as the PPP-led government at Centre was committed to ensuring peace and further improving the security situation in the country.
He was chairing a high-level meeting here at the Ministry of Interior to review the security matters in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. He told the meeting that the government was using all available resources to improve the law and order situation and maintain peace throughout the country.
Interior Secretary Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, the KP home secretary, the IGP and the National Crisis Management Cell director general also attended the meeting.
