Rahat, Shafqat and Adnan nominated for Filmfare

MUMBAI – After winning two awards this year for the ‘Best Playback Singer’, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has now received two more nominations for the same category at the 56th Filmfare Awards. But this time he is not the only Pakistani musician nominated; Shafqat Amanat Ali and Adnan Sami have also been nominated in the same category.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has been nominated for ‘Sajda’ (My Name Is Khan) and ‘Dil Toh Baccha Hai Jee’ (Ishqiya) where as Shafqat Amanat Ali has been nominated for ‘Bin Tere’ (I Hate Luv Storys) and Adnan Sami for ‘Noor-e-Khuda’ (My Name Is Khan).
Filmfare Awards have been testament to the grandeur and excellence of Indian cinema, and they continue to be the most awaited celebration of Indian film industry.
