LAHORE – Ali Zafar has been nominated in the categories for best debut (male) and most promising newcomer (male) at the Filmfare Awards 2011 and Star Screen Awards 2011 respectively.
The ‘Tere Bin Laden’ star has been a tabloid sensation ever since signing Yash Raj film with Katrina Kaif and the Indian press finds an incredible chemistry between them (although our humble Ali Zafar failed to recognise Katrina in the first meeting).
Award or no award, this talented actor has made his presence felt in Bollywood. He has also been in the news throughout for his charities for flood relief and education. The ‘Channo’ famed artist is also rumoured to be singing the official cricket World Cup 2011 song.
