When it comes to role of women in society a very considerate, warm and full of affection mental image emerges and gives a feeling of responsibility and caring. But when there is a news report that a woman is involved in suicide bombing, suddenly a shock wave runs through the spine and a big question mark why comes in mind.
Islam is a religion which has given respect, freedom; share in property and honour to women. Without women, no family system can run in a society.
If we see it in our cultural set-up, women are hesitant to take any training in the use of weapons or become a part of any activity in which terrorism is involved. Killing of civilians, especially innocent women, children and elders is simply out of question. Then why a woman can go to such an extent of blowing herself up and kill others. Such incidents have happened in other countries as well, so it is not a new phenomenon.
Women who go through physical abuse and mental torture are inclined to take revenge through violence. Some are of the view that their self sacrifice is going to bring a big change in the society.
So they opt for such an action. But one thing is very much clear that women who agree to take part in such violent acts are brainwashed to such an extent that they do not think of anything else and find it the only solution to their sufferings while carrying out a duty leading to paradise.
In the educational institutions as well as working places observing behaviour is very important. Close communication and interaction also helps to find out problems at an early stage which are easier to handle. Having a good positive attitude and respect for others is also necessary to have a good social relationship and a healthy society.
The most important of all is that women are a blessing of Allah Almighty and are important members of a society. They are responsible for healthy and positive environment for themselves and others, thus controlling all evils and negative thinking.
