Re-installation of speed guns

Islamabad traffic police has come a long way. Now almost 90 percent of the citizens of Islamabad are aware of basic traffic rules that were being ignored earlier. Even the taxi drivers know the importance of seat belts.

My only concern is the removal of the speed guns from the 7th and 9th avenue. Both avenues are signal free and usually the speed limit is 70km per hour whereas we can witness people driving at an alarming speed of 120km per hour. Recently there was a fatal accident at 7th avenue due to over-speeding and the police could not register a case because they had no proof about the speed of the car. Therefore, I request the higher authorities to install speed guns on traffic-signal free roads.
