KARACHI – The Karachi Electric supply Company recently held a consumer information session in Pari Mall-Hyderi as part of its energy conservation programme, a social service initiative with the principal goal of saving 200MW.
The energy conservation team demonstrated different ways and methods to create awareness on how to conserve the energy on specially designed demo boards.
The KESC team managed to acquire information from 250 consumers regarding their family, lifestyle and feedback on the campaign.
The team was able to give tips to more than 500 consumers on energy conservation.The consumer stalls set up at the session focused on incandescent bulbs and CFLs, standby mode bites energy, T5 and T8 tube lights and the actual consumption of “zero” watt bulbs.
