ISLAMABAD – Former Balochistan police inspector general Javed Bukhari has been appointed as additional director general of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). Pakistan Today learnt that Bukhari’s appointment notification had also been issued and he would also lead the investigation team probing into the Haj scam. His appointment was made after the Supreme Court directed FIA Director General Wasim Ahmed to relinquish his charge as head of the Haj Scam probe team.
