Once again the authorities have disappointed us. The SECP has said that its nod was not required for UBL deal. I am one of those minority shareholders of UBL who were denied the premium just to favour the two bigger acquirers. Has SECP also forgotten its basic role? Has it joined the league which only favours the rich and the big?
