Karachi killings

Scores of citizens including the journalist have been killed in Karachi in the recent past. It is prime responsibility of the government to protect the life and property of the citizen. The MQM claims it is not involved in Karachi target killing.

The ANP which represents Pashtuns and Balochs settled in Karachi controls and manages the transportation business. The PPP which is a majority party in the ruling coalition is partner with both ANP and MQM at the centre.

The question is who is involved in Karachi target killing if the political parties workers are not? What is the role played by drug mafia and land grabbers? Which political party is their supporter? Karachi also has strong religious parties. One fails to understand as to why political parties cannot find a solution to this scenario. How long they will play the politics of the gun.

Why the top leadership of ANP and MQM is not holding a meeting to resolve their political difference? The demand of the ANP to hand over the security responsibility to the Pakistan Army is the acceptance of political parties failure to resolve their differences by peaceful means. There is urgent need to smash the gangs involved in the killing regardless of their political affiliation make Karachi again a city of lights.
