KARACHI – ArtChowk the Gallery is running an exhibition of Saba Qizilbash’s artworks titled ‘Not for the Faint of Heart’ until January 22.
Qizilbash was born in Lahore in 1977; she received her Bachelor in Fine Arts degree in Painting from the National College of Arts, Lahore, in 2000.
She also received a degree from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2004; she is currently residing in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where she is an adjunct professor at the American University since May 2007.
Her current exhibition includes her artworks titled ’21st Century Love Hurts’, ‘Not for the Faint of Heart’, ‘Organ of Fire’, ‘Playground’, ‘Ready, Get Set, Stay’, ‘The Bodies That Were Not Ours’ and ‘When They Came for her in the Garden’.Photos courtesy ArtChowk gallery
