LAHORE – Another six matches were played on day two of the Khayaban-e-Amin Media Cup Cricket Tournament on Thursday. ATV, CNBC, APP, Waqt News and ARY won their matches to move to the second round.
The second day of the tournament started with an exhibition match between Punjab Assembly XI and Sponsors XI. Parliamentarians made 73 runs Allah Rakha 33 and Imran 23 were the prominent batsmen. Khayaban-e-Amin, in reply could manage 68 runs. The Parliamentarians in their second match beat ATV team after a tough contest by three runs. Parliamentarians made 48 while ATV could make 45 runs. ATV got walk over against The Nation. CBNC beat Waqt by one run. The winners scored 62 runs and Waqt could make 61 runs. APP beat Din by four runs. APP got 48 runs and in reply Din made 44 runs all out. Waqt News in a one-sided match defeated Royal TV by nine wickets. Royal TV got 59 runs but Waqt News achieved the score for the loss of one wicket.
