Germany releases Rs 405m for Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa schools

PESHAWAR – The Government of Germany, as a result of sincere and tireless efforts of Sardar Hussain Babak, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Education, has released Rs 405 million to the education department for the early reconstruction and repair of the schools devastated during the floods and terrorism in the province.
The provincial government is making every possible effort for the reconstruction and repair of the schools badly affected as a result of the devastating floods and terrorism. Provincial Minister for Education Sardar Hussain Babak is striving hard to collect funds from the provincial, federal and world-based institutions for the early reconstruction and restoration of the school buildings.
The German government has released Rs 405 million for the restoration of the damaged schools.
This amount would greatly help early reconstruction of the schools of Khyber-Pakhtukhwa, particularly Malakand division which got damaged as a result of the unprecedented floods and wave of terrorism in the region.
