Lahore – The supply of injection Heparine, injection Verapanil, tablet
Neomercazole and tablet Thyroxin is short in the market for the last one month and patients with heart diseases including patients of Myocardial Infarction, Cardiac Arrhythmias and patients of goiter are suffering with the Federal and Provincial governments yet to take notice of the matter, Young Doctors Association (YDA) Office Bearers Dr Rana Sohail, Dr Salman Kazmi, Dr Aslam Rao, Dr Usra Sadaqat, Dr Khuda Baksh said on Wednesday.
They added that the concerned companies have created an artificial shortage of drugs in the market and the result has been patient suffering. The YDA has appealed to the Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousaf Raza Gillani to take notice of the matter and issue directions to ensure the supply of the above mentioned medicines in the market on urgent basis.
