LAHORE – The Punjab University Inter-collegiate Badminton Championship reached the semi-final stage here on Wednesday.
Punjab College of Commerce, PU Teaching Department, Akhwan Science College and Punjab University Law Department reached the semi-finals.
On day two of the championship, Punjab College of Commerce beat Oriental College 2-0. Akhwan Science College beat Hailey College of Commerce 2-1 in a closely-contested encounter, PU Teaching Department defeated Elite College of Commerce 2-0 and Punjab University Law Department edged out Hailey College of Banking and Finance 2-1.
Punjab College will face PU Law Department in the first semi-final, while Teaching Department will face Akhwan Science College in the other semi-final. The final will be played on January 14.
